Looks and Design
The Flair Freestyle is one good looking crossover. The company Ford named it ‘CUV’ instead of SUV. But after all, it is just a regular cross-hatch as we know it.
The roof and alloy wheels garnished with a glossy black finishing. One of a kind to the Flair version is the appearance of stylish body decals with a Flair’s name on its boot lid.
As you enter the cabin, you will start to feel that the sitting position is a bit higher compared to other cross-hatch cars. You will notice that it has a similar-looking cabin, as you’ve seen in the Ford Figo with a brown and black theme interior.
Furthermore, it has automatic headlamps and a wiper with a rain sensor. Unfortunately, there is no Apple Carplay or Android Auto in the car.
Also, the space inside the cabin is quite average.
It has a displacement of 1194 cc, powered by a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder petrol engine. The Freestyle engine comes from Ford’s new motors Dragon family, which delivers the maximum power of 95.67bhp @ 6500 rpm and maximum torque of 119 @ 4250 rpm.
It is only available in manual transmission. The company has also unveiled its 1.5-liter diesel engine, which is also in manual transmission.
The capacity of the fuel tank of this vehicle is 42 Liters, and the average mileage of Ford Freestyle claims to be around 28.8 kmpl.
Talking about its configurations, Ford Freestyle Flair has a total length of 3954 mm and a width of 1737 mm. The curb weight of Freestyle is 1062 kgs and has a height of 1570 mm.
Ford’s main priority is safety. The company has equipped Freestyle with some of the latest safety features like electronic stability control, anti-lock brakes, six airbags, traction control, and an active rollover protection system.
