Introductions of Husqvarna Motorcycles
The 116-year-old motorcycle manufacturer was preparing to manufacture Husqvarna motorcycles in India six years ago in collaboration with the Austrian company KTM. Indian motorcycle maker Bajaj Auto has a 48 % stake in Husqvarna.
The Swedish motorcycle Husqvarna started producing motorcycles in 1903. The Husqvarna Motocross Arena which is known as the Legendary Motorcycle.
The Swedish motorcycle finally made its entry into the Nepali auto-market. This motorcycles will be made public through a Facebook page called Husqvarna Motorcycle Nepal. It will be sold and distributed in Nepal by the Golchha Group.
At present, the company has introduced 250 cc segment motorcycles in Nepal. Thus, the Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 and Svartpilen 250 will soon go on sale. This bikes will be sold from KTM Motorcycle’s showroom in Nepal.
The sale will start in Nepal soon after the current lockdown lifts, as the motorcycles have already been kept in showrooms of Kathmandu.
The Husqvarna Vitpilen 250: Overview
Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 is a (commuter) cafe racer bike. It means “White Arrow” in Swedish which is a quarter-litre cafe racer having the same engine of KTM 250 Duke.
The bike has a sporty agronomic design, which means you get a low set clip-on handlebars. The foot peckers are slightly up in terms of riding posture, and it is more committed to sitting lower.
It has got an excellent cafe, racer vibes and will be suitable for the urban riding experience. When sitting on the Vitpilen 250, it feels more like a city bike while the Svartilen 250 feels cruiser, made especially for the highway.

The 250cc models have been grown significantly for the Indian market. In terms of frame, engine, brakes, and suspension, it is precisely similar to the 250 KTM Duke.
