[2020] Kawasaki Revealed New Bike Under 175 cc. Will It Come to Nepal ?

The famous brand Kawasaki has recently revealed their new bike under 175 cc engine, ‘The Kawasaki W175.

Looking at the company profile, the Kawasaki has always been aiming at making big motorbikes until now. But they are finally preparing to bring two-wheelers under 200 cc segment.

Now what might be the model or design of this new motorcycle from Kawasaki? According to the company, their new upcoming bike will be made in retro classic style.

The company also stated that this new retro classic motorbike would be available for sale in the year 2021.

Well to inform you that this motorcycle has recently sold in a different part of the Asian countries and now, it will soon going to enter Indian markets as well.

 

Kawasaki W175 Looks and Design

According to the company, this new bike has a classic retro look while its design looks pretty impressive for the motorcycle with 175 cc engine.

By looking at its image, this new bike has got round headlight which carries those pure classic styling vibes with it. Also, it includes spoked wheels which are covered around by tube tyres along with a peashooter muffler.

Ok. Now talking about its instrument clusters, this retro bike consists of a typical round analogue instrument cluster which fits best for motorbike appearance.

This analogue instrument cluster indicates necessary information from the odometer, trip meter, and speedometer, which is mandatory for every motorcycle riders.

Now let’s move onto the backside of this new motorcycle.

At the rear part, it has got same turn indicators but with square-shaped tail light. The tailpipe, engine, and suspension springs are all blacked out, giving the bike a more neat and clean look.

It has a single-piece seat with simple shapes with a decent, comfortable cushion.

The overall look and design are neat and clean. It carries those typical classic looking motorbike vibes.

What’s more? Well, until now this Kawasaki W175 only weighs 126 kgs. But it weighs will increase as soon as it enters the Indian market due to additional set up for safety features and emission to meet the requirements of the country.

Kawasaki W175 Engine Specifications.

This new bike W175 consists of 177 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC engine. This engine generates a maximum power of 13.05 HP @ 7500 rpm and a maximum torque of 13.2 Nm (1.3 kgf.m) @ 6000 rpm.

Models sold in Indonesia and Thailand will have carburettor engines, while models sold in India will have FI engines. It has a 5-speed gearbox connected.

Additionally, it will also get a balancer shaft to reduce unwanted and annoying vibrations.

Wheels & Suspensions

The new bike Kawasaki W175 is designed on a semi-double-cradle frame along with a box-section swingarm.

At the front, it has got telescopic forks with usual rubber stockings and a twin shock at the back.

While the front wheel consist of a disc brake of 220 mm and the drum brake of 110 mm on the back wheel.

For the Indian model, only single-channel ABS expected from the company.

Kawasaki W175 Expected Price

Its expected price in India is 140,000 Indian rupees. It will be the second model to be made at Kawasaki’s R&D centre in India.

In the context of Nepal, many different brands of motorcycles and scooters in classic retro design have started entering recently. 

Back in the year 2000, Kawasaki motorcycles were distributed and sold in Nepal. 

But in recent years, the company started manufacturing only big and exclusive motorcycles. Since then, the distributions and sales of the Kawasaki motorcycle Brand were stopped in Nepali auto- market. 

In the classic retro segment, there is a famous brand like Royal Enfield, Benelli, Jawa and recently launched H’ness CB 350 from Honda and they are all prepared to compete in the classic retro style segment. 

Many Auto companies are competing to bring the new Kawasaki W175 to Nepal. We still know which company will get this new bike in Nepal.

It may take little time but will be worth waiting for.
