The Honda Company launched the new CBR 600RR in Japan with the price tag of JPY 16, 06,000. After three years of a long gap, Honda has launched the new Honda CBR 600RR in the 600cc super sports category.
Back in 2017, Production of CBR 600RR was stopped but a few weeks back, surprisingly they released the short trailer of the new CBR 600RR on their official YouTube channel.
And now finally the dream came true. Honda recreated this most loved motorcycle and have already started delivering it in the Japanese market.
The Honda’s CBR 600RR appeared to have met its destiny in 2013 after the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer stopped delivering the bike in the UK and European markets.
However, this year the company gave a sweet surprise to its customers by introducing the new Honda CBR 600RR. It has returned to challenge its tough Japanese competitors.

Competitors like Yamaha R6 and Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R are some of its toughest competitors. Will the new Honda CBR600RR can reclaim its top position of super sports again? With that being said, we have to wait and watch how the new CBR 600RR will perform.
The New Honda CBR 600RR Overview
Like its senior the CBR1000RR-R Fire blade, the 600RR also gets wings, yet little ones to suit the bike capacities. The company reported that the new 2021 CBR 600RR has got one of the most aerodynamic designed body in its division.
This Bike has a splendid air bundle along with very engaging looks. It carries those feelings of recognition that we have generally expected from Honda super sports.
Sticking with the classic underneath exhaust, it doesn’t want to change its entire looks. When you look at it from the front, the face of the new CBR looks identical to the Yamaha R15 v3.
Following the latest Japanese rules, the bike’s emission has been updated which is approximately identical to Euro 4-standards. The new CBR has extended its throttle bore, redesigned the Intel ports, modified the valve timing, and improved the under-seat exhaust to meet current requirements.
To enhance the combustion chamber cooling, the entire water jacket surrounding the exhaust valve has been redesigned. The fairing with the lower air scoops reminds us of those magnificent memories of the NACA channels.
Built by the Honda engineers, the internal parts of the CBR 600RR engine is now more rigid, solid, and lighter, even though it still carries the same old specs.
Furthermore, the valve limit has been modified to improve its eco-friendly nature to suit the environment.
Honda is still carrying on with the 599cc inline-four plant. Therefore due to the high improvement level, the new Honda CBR 600RR has a displacement of 599cc, DOHC liquid-cooled, four-cylinder incline engine that produces a maximum power of 120 bhp at 14000 rpm and the maximum torque of 64Nm at 11,500 rpm. It is equipped with a six-speed gearbox.
Also, it includes 9 traction control, 3 motors slowing down, and 5-wheelie control intercession levels along with 5 throttle maps.
Furthermore, the wheelie control & traction control both can be stopped inside and out at the same time.
Brakes and Suspension
The new CBR 600RR consists of Tokico radial twin disc brakes of 320 mm at the front and single-piston caliper disc with a 220 mm at the rear. The CBR 600RR also includes standard rare lift mitigation along with ABS.
Talking about its suspension, it has got USD forks at the front and mono-shock at the rear. Also, the new CBR 600RR also gets selectable torque control (HSTC), numerous power modes, fly by wire throttle, and an IMU.
Besides, the new CBR bear winglets to the 600 division unlike the multilayered renditions utilized on the most recent CBR 1,000cc.
The new Honda CBR got updated with a fully-digital instrument, fully-colored instrument, the cluster that displays gear position indicator, lap timer, speedometer, riding modes, and tachometer.
It has also got the slipper clutch and assist, LED lighting along with an emergency stop signal system flashing the hazard light as soon as the rider stops the bike.
For an extra cost, there’s an option like an up-down quick shifter as well.
Let’s get started with its dimension. The new Honda CBR 600RR has an average seat height of 820 mm and a curb weight of 194 kg.
The total ground clearance of the new CBR is 125 mm whereas the overall wheelbase is 1,375mm.
This bike comes with the Tri-colour and Grand Prix Red scheme representing the Honda racing automation.
