Body and Design
Ultraviolette electric bike acquires sporty looks along with a forward-leaned body framework.
It has a sporty riding position due to its low set clip-on handlebars. The framework started with the KTM RC 390.
Hence, the front face is almost identical to KTM RC, and in fact, the wheelbase is similar as well.
At the back, it gets a new cast aluminium swing-arm which is relatively short because the motor unit is long while they could not accommodate anything longer.
Above that is the laid down KTM shock which works quite well.
But the major significant change is in the mid-section body part. There is an entirely new frame that uses the battery box as the structural member of the frame.
The overall body and design look sportier than ever. It has got split seats while the full-body faring looks excellent on this bike.
The headlamp looks fantastic with a futuristic design, and it also gets alloy wheels on both tyres.
The F77 makes ten bhp less than a KTM 390 but almost the same peak power as the TVS Apache RR 310. when it comes to torque, its always on 90 Nm which is nearly three times as much as KTM and TVS.
The Ultraviolette F77 has an air-cooled brushless DC motor where its motor generates 33 bhp of power.
Its top speed is 147 kilometres per hour. It can reach 0-60 in 2.9 seconds, and 0-100 at a rate of 7.5 sec.
It has no gearbox, but there is some racket from the chain drive, and it accelerates fast enough.
This bike has dual-channel ABS, digital odometer, trip meter, riding modes, LED tail lights, Navigation, and fast charging.
There are other features like fall & crash sensor, Vibration E-SIM, iOS & Android smartphone app, Arrestors, BLS4 Automated Battery Control System.
Other features like Automated Battery Ejection, Battery Locking, regenerative braking, and emergency contact alert are equipped in this electric motorcycle.
Three colors options will be available with Ultraviolette F77: Laser, Lightning, and Shadow.
Its price is estimated at 300,000 Indian rupees.
